The Library of Congress' READ.GOV has some great digital titles
The International Children's Digital Library is quite special. Although the titles include an age range up to age 13, (which would include some of our 9th graders), the books are in many different languages—and some of these titles have been contributed via the Baldwin Collection (1,986 books) from the Baldwin Library of Historical Children’s Literature, at the University of Florida. If you haven’t been to the library—it’s wonderful.
And an App to find books: “YALSA's Teen Book Finder is a free online database and app to help teens, parents, librarians and library staff, educators, and anyone who loves YA literature access nearly 4,000 titles recognized YALSA's awards and lists on their smartphone.”
